New to Funi? This article will guide you through the app's layout and navigation, helping you find your way around and access all the features you need to create and manage your listings.

The Funi app is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. Here's a breakdown of the main navigation elements:

Bottom Navigation Bar:

Located at the bottom of the screen, the navigation bar provides quick access to the app's primary sections. It consists of four key icons:

  • Listings (House Icon): Tapping this icon will take you to the Listing Views screen. This is your home base for viewing and managing all your created listings. Here you can see your listings in grid, list, or map view.

  • Create (SquarePlus Icon): Tap this icon to start creating a new listing. This will open the Listing Form start screen, where you can begin the listing creation process by selecting the listing type.

  • Notifications (Ring Icon): Tap the bell icon to access your In-App Notifications screen. This is where you'll find important updates about your listings, such as when a listing is ready or if there's an error. A red badge on this icon indicates unread notifications.

  • Settings (Settings Icon): Tap the gear icon to open the Settings screen. Here you can manage your account, customize app preferences, adjust notification settings, access support, and find legal information.

Top App Bar:

The App Bar is located at the top of most screens and serves several functions:

  • Back Button: Usually positioned on the left side of the App Bar, the back button (often a "<" arrow or "X" icon) allows you to navigate back to the previous screen or close the current screen.

  • Screen Title: The title of the current screen is displayed in the center of the App Bar, helping you understand where you are in the app.

  • Action Buttons: On the right side of the App Bar, you might find action buttons relevant to the current screen. These could include icons for actions like "Edit," "Delete," "Save," "Share," or changing the view.

Screen Closing Gestures:

In addition to the back button in the App Bar, Funi also supports intuitive swipe gestures for closing certain screens:

  • Top-Down Swipe: On some screens, you can simply swipe down from the top of the screen to close it.

  • Edge Swipe: In line with platform conventions (iOS and Android), you can often swipe from the edge of the screen (usually left edge) to navigate back or close a screen.

By understanding these navigation elements, you can easily move around the Funi app, access different features, and efficiently manage your property listings. Explore each section of the app using the bottom navigation bar to familiarize yourself with all that Funi has to offer!
